Alabama’s tax-free weekend is coming up! From Friday, July 16, to Sunday, July 18, shoppers will not have to pay state tax or use tax on certain school supplies, computers, books, or clothing. This is Alabama’s second tax-free weekend of the year. From February 26 to February 28, 2021, shoppers didn’t pay taxes on generators and certain severe weather preparedness items up to $60. It is a prime time to purchase clothing for your children and any necessary items that they may need for the upcoming school year. However, you do not have to be a student or even have children to take advantage of this great deal. It is also an excellent time to save money by purchasing the big ticket items, such as computers and printers.
