July 12, 2021
Durden Outdoor Displays, Inc. recently completed an acquisition in Jackson County, FL., becoming the largest billboard provider in the area. In November 2017, the FAMOUS Makers moved into Jackson County and placed Marianna’s first Digital billboard in the market. Since then, we have continued to expand our services in Northwest Florida to better serve our customers and continue to grow our business.
Durden Outdoor’s inventory in this market includes Digital and Static Bulletins that are concentrated along Hwy 71 and Hwy 90, targeting locals in the area. These two corridors have a 60% higher traffic count in Jackson County compared to Interstate 10 and Hwy 231. With the acquisition, Durden Outdoor also now has the largest billboards in the county, with the largest boasting 22’ x 24,” allowing customers to make a huge statement.
“We are really excited to continue our growth in Jackson County and be able to provide a larger network of billboards to our customers,” says Bill Durden, VP of Operations. “The area has a large economic draw to the Wiregrass and we are happy to invest in this growing market.”
Jackson County has an estimated population of close to 50,000 people and more than 17,000 households.
