WHOOOOO! WHOOOO! MEET OSCAR THE OWL…. Durden Outdoor Displays’ Digital Network, like any other rapidly growing technology, requires day to day maintenance. An issue that we have seen in our digital displays is the attraction of various types of birds. Often times you will see birds perched on top of billboards simply minding their own business. However, once the birds get between the billboards, the damage that they can do to a digital billboard’s wiring is fatal. In attempt to keep birds away, we have purchased a new addition to the Durden family – Meet Oscar the Owl. You can find Oscar the Owl hovering over our digital displays scaring off his prey by simply having a presence. Oscar will also help protect our digital engineer, Jeshua Unger, from those unexpected attacks. The placement of Oscar along our Digital Network will efficiently cut down on time and costs.
