Last Tuesday over 26 local chambers of commerce and agencies signed up to help push this website to their members to post “GOOD” content happening in their communities. This website will be promoted on billboards throughout the wiregrass plus WTVY NEWS 4 will do on-air new stories about some of the events posted on the site. Durden Outdoor is involved in several organizations through out our service area. We attend events every month to include Chamber of Commerce ribbon cuttings and ground breakings, Network Alliance , as well as American Advertising Federation meetings amongst many others. We believe that community involvement is important and we strive to have a presence and be apart of community outreach. I recently attended the monthly American Advertising Federation meeting that was held on May 6, 2009. The AAF-Dothan has allowed us to make new connections, build relationships, and expand our network. This organization has also allowed us to give back to the community through different projects and fundraisers such as Canned Food Drives during the holidays. AAF-Dothan is just one of the numerous organizations that we are proud to be apart of and look forward to continue growing in. |
