“I’ve tried everything you can in advertising. Newspaper, Television, Direct Mail, Radio, and couldn’t seem to drive customers to the store,” says Randall, of Direct Tire Outlet in Troy, AL. Randall noted that a friend of his had utilized some political billboards to effectively promote his campaign and he contributed his victory to outdoor advertising . So, after meeting with Durden Outdoor sales consultant Shane Bryan, Randall decided to try the 12 week rotary campaign and launched it on March 3, 2008 in Troy, AL. One month into the campaign and after many calls about his unique artwork that was created by Durden Outdoor's Image Department, a traveling customer notices the billboard. Traveling on 231 South, North of Troy, AL he had worn his tires bald sliding all over the road and couldn’t go another mile. The “Going Bald?” Billboard couldn't have been more fitting. He gets Direct Tire Outlet's number from the billboard, visits the location, and purchases a brand new set of tires from Randall and his great staff. Randall is excited to know that he has found a medium that works and looks forward to his campaign's continued success!
